Abseil Systems
Fade Cleaning, cladding maintenance and window cleaning can often require the use of professional rope access technicians. The reasons for this can vary from the height of the building meaning that platforms or scaffold cannot reach, to the area around the building being unsuitable or too busy to use standard access means. In this case the work must be carried out in suspension, anchored to suitable anchorage systems at the top of the structure.
Harcon Services can design, supply and install various forms of Abseil Systems. Whether your access requirements dictate anchorage posts, eyebolts, or continuous track systems, we have your solution. Due to the diversity of building specifications we can provide abseiling anchorage systems to suit a wide range of roof systems and structures.
We will design the anchorage points and system to allow a user to carry out the required works. The abseil anchors will be designed to take the load of the user along with their equipment. The user must legally be supplied with two anchorage points to connect onto whilst carrying out their works, this is to provide a secondary safety fall arrest backup in the event that the primary suspension anchor or suspension equipment fails.
